Monitoring data are collected according to the Helsinki Convention (HELCOM) mainly from the open Baltic Sea. This monitoring includes hydrography, nutrients, phytoplankton, zooplankton and zoobenthos and certain harmful substances in biota.
Monitoring data are freely available from Helcom monitoring stations. Most of the monitoring data are also available directly from this web site. The dataset includes also all visits at these station from 1979.
