Baltic Sea Portal

Alg@line measures chlorophyll a, salinity, temperature and nutrient concentrations in the surface water using automated flow-through systems installed onboard co-operating merchant ships. In addition, onboard one of the ships a CTD system probes the water column from, and samples are collected for oxygen analyses.
